The first time I used the board I left the fins on it and it would cut so hard it felt like I was riding a tank. As soon as I took the fins off it was a completely different board. Had good pop, turned well and could get good air. I don't know about the advanced guys but for us regular people this is a great board. The boots are very easy to get on and they are extreamly comfortable. They give excelent control.
