If you have purchased anything from CWB or worked with us in anyway, thanks again for your support... Although cliché and over used, there is no better way to say it.
The 2006 collection rattled cages and we are stoked to top that year after year, bringing to market the best, most diverse wakeboard line ever. We created a binding line (Hinge Tech) that makes your ride easier and less stressful, while enhancing your performance on the water. We support and manage the best young pro team in the sport. These are just a few things that wake us up at 2am with that one idea...the one idea that could change everything. Each year we intend to change everything and to keep progressing.
Each piece in the CWB collection is the end result of ideas and products that have been in development for many years. From a wakeboard shape that has been copied more than any other, to a boot line that was the first to use Achilles pads and Lycra, to our progressive Hinge Tech, we are changing the sport of wakeboarding forever. Silencing the critics, most of who don't even ride. We hand to you the CWB wakeboard collection with the best board shapes, boots and accessories to fall into your boat. All of which are brainstormed, designed, tested and built by people who are the arteries of the CWB brand - our employees. No other brand can match our passion and drive to ride. From customer service reps, brand ambassadors, designers, product managers, factory workers, and shippers... the list goes on and on.
Be unique. Start the change. Ride for fun on CWB.
Gordy Holmes, CWB Vice President of Marketing, shares his favorite things about CWB:
- Board Construction - CWB is one of the few wakeboard companies left that still manufactures wakeboards in the United States, specifically in Lynnwood, Washington. Wakeboard mold forming tools are all created in-house by employees who have over 20 years of experience. CWB boards are designed with the consumer in mind striking a balance between pro level and consumer level designs so that their boards are more rider-friendly. They are tested at nearby Pacific Northwest lakes and our team riders around the world, getting lots of feedback from athletes, retailers, and employees before the final product is shipped to stores.
- Innovative Technology - Perhaps the biggest news in wakeboarding the past couple of seasons has been the HingeTech binding, which CWB first developed and just recently patented. HingeTech revolutionized the way that riders interacted with their boots and boards by making it easier for people to get inside their bindings and by providing zero heel lift and more ankle support. The success of the bindings triggered an increased awareness and demand for CWB wakeboards.
- Grassroots Marketing - CWB is a small company with big ambition. Advertising in general publications is not an option. Therefore it relies heavily on industry publications, websites, and the most powerful tool: word of mouth. Specifically, with the success of the HingeTech binding, users have spread the news about how well the binding works. Customers are calling and emailing CWB with stories of how HingeTech changed their riding and how much they enjoy their new CWB board.
- Company Culture - One of the core values at CWB is developing quality product, which is driven by innovation through all levels within the company. Each person has a stake in the success of CWB's line-up. It's a small company with a casual atmosphere where everyone is pushed to the limit especially during the wakeboard season when demand is high. But, everyone has time to get out on the water to keep CWB's dedication to innovation progressing.
