The smartcore is now 15% lighter then last season's Smartcore. Omatic continues to vertically laminate poplar wood cores from tip to tail. Then they mill air channels between the bindings to provide a more flexible and responsive feel. The air channels placed between the binding points improves the baord turning ability while reducing the boards weight. |
