The 2009 Stairmaster Wide for the big feet out there features the CAPiTA SS core, which is made of poplar wood, for great pop yet also gives a stable, damp ride. The Form 6 fiberglass configuration, which has biaxial fiberglass on both the base and top side at 0 and 90 degree angles, and makes turns a cinch. The extruded base is the most low maintence finish on the market. The CAPiTA Stairmaster Wide snowboard is a great step to becoming the master of the hill.

FORM 6 Fiberglass Configuration: The Form 6 is laid up wet by hand during the lamination process and consists of the highest quality stitched biaxial fiberglass placed on both the base and top side of the construction at 0 and 90 degree angles. This results in a board that initiates turns easily, while retaining the pop necessary for any freestyle environment.

Extruded Base: Softer than sintered bases due to its lower molecular weight, this type of base is the easiest to maintain and excels in park attacks and urban jibbing. It repairs easily and when waxed, extruded base material will provide excellent performance.
