The CAPiTA Stairmaster Snowboard originated as a board discounted out of the box that was smaller, wider, softer and designed for maneuverability around the park. The ride-ability of this series has become legendary in relation to the price tag, and the overwhelming demand for these boards resulted in CAPiTA scaling the series into seven sizes with two wide models for 07/08.
The graphics on the Stairmaster were designed by Corey Smith. Corey took a bunch of stuff from his journal about his love for celebrities and pretty girls and shared it all over these boards. The base answers the question, “What kind of board do you have?” So you can talk less and ride more.

Sidewall Construction — The bombproof engineering of CAPiTA Sidewall boards guarantee power and stability through each turn while dominating every modern riding environment. Woodcores are “sandwiched” on the top and bottom by fiberglass, while ABS rails are placed at the sides. This configuration provides a smooth response, increased dampening, and a solid, confident feel while ripping down the mountain.

Radial Sidecut — Radial sidecut is a single radius design causing your board to start and finish a turn on the same arc. SS Core — Built for consistent feel, the SS Core provides a stable, damp ride without sacrificing the energy and POP! of a CAPiTA.

FORM 6 Fiberglass configuration — The Form 6 glass configuration consists of biaxial fiberglass placed on the base and top side of the construction at 0 and 90 degree angles. FORM 6 configuration results in a board that initiates turns easily, while retaining the pop necessary for any freestyle environment.

Extruded base — Extruded base material is softer than sintered bases due to its lower molecular weight. This type of base is the easiest to maintain and excels in park attacks and urban jibbing. It repairs easily and when waxed, extruded base material will provide excellent performance.
