CAPiTA Black Death Inc. Wide Snowboard 2010: Building off the sidecut theory and rideabilty of previous award-winning CAPiTA boards, the 2010 CAPiTA Black Death Inc. Wide snowboard continues its legacy as the ultimate in all-terrain freestyle design for those with oversized feet. One of the most innovative features on the Black Death Inc. Wide snowboard is the DS + ENT aircore, which is super strong, yet lightweight and snappy. The Wax Infused Sintered base is a lightning fast and the sidewall construction is bomb-proof; this particular board is extra wide, for those who desire more stability and width in their ride.

• Flex and Rider Style – Directional shape and progressive sidecut engineered with all-terrain technical freestyle riding in mind, from huge ollies to razor sharp turns. The Black Death Inc’s wide waist will accommodate boot sizes 11.5 and up to prevent toe drag.
• Construction and Core – DS + ENT – Entrapped AIRcore: The lightweight DS + ENT core was constructed with CNC milled ‘channels’ that entrap air in strategic areas to increase rigidity, energy transfer, and response while achieving a core 25% stronger and 20% lighter than standard cores // Custom Weave Carbon + Kevlar: Perimeter-weighted fiberglass on the base and top with an exclusive epoxy resin system. This technique, borrowed from the marine industry, yields stronger and stiffer qualities. Decreased wood thickness for a lighter board with high-energy longitudinal/torsional flex.
• Sidewalls and Edges – Full wrap around steel edges.
• Base – Wax Infused Sintered WTR Speed Base: Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene is compressed through heat and pressure, leaving miniscule spaces that absorb wax and allow for extended periods of high speed shredding and prevent the base from drying out. Properly maintained sintered bases are fast and durable.
• Graphics – Screened/die cut base graphics, soft touch/metallic screened topsheet graphics, metallic logo inlay.
