i had to return these. i was wearing an 8 in other brands and even the 8.5 in this brand was too small. i do like the comfortable feel of the boots near the toe otherwise. also the lace system for the bladder could use improvement. it hurts your hands tightening.

These are the best boots I have ever owned! This is my 7th year riding and my 4th pair of boots. I laid my old Solomon boots to rest last year and invested in the Ivy's. I have broken many bones in my feet and legs so i usually have trouble finding a good fit but after having these heat molded to my feet i didn't even notice. I did need to get a heel insert no big deal!

my feet are a bundle of issues: i have wide, flat feet. i have big calves. and of course i have narrow heels. the burtons i initially bought were not bringing any of my issues under control even though they had upper and lower laces, they were just squeezing the life out of my feet. after wearing the burtons around the house for an hour i decided to return them. these ivys were the only boots that addressed the heel lift caused by my huge calves (the lace locks really help). i went half a size down and the toes seemed too close at first, but it's not a problem when i lace the boots properly. i rode in these all day and didn't think of them once-- that's a good sign.
