Shrinkage removes bulk and weight to eliminate excess toe and heel drag while the new articulating cuff allows for a smoother forward flex. The new hybrid cushioning system blends monster truck-caliber shock absorption with go-kart style response. Even the smell is fresh thanks to the stench sucking power of the Aegis antimicrobial coating.

• Flex Rating and Fit – Flex: 6 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff). The Burton Shaun White Snowboard Boots are a stiffer boot perfect for backcountry pow slashes, steep pipe walls, and riders who prefer a bit more support from their boots.
• Construction – Thin Profile 3D Molded Tongue - Adjusting the profile of the tongue’s thickness controls its flex, enhances its ability to wrap the forefoot, and reduces shell/liner stack-up for improved comfort. // The Articulating Cuff creates a fluid forward flex by allowing the upper and lower cuff of the boot to flex independently, thus minimizing shell distortion and maximizing heel hold and response.
• Liner and Lacing – Whether you have funky cankles or a grotesque sixth toe, rest assured that your feet will be wrapped with comfort in Burton’s Imprint liner. While they fit great out of the box, you can even custom mold these babies to the shape of your foot with Burton’s EMU heat-molding system, found at your local shop. // Burton uses three levels of Power Spine backstays throughout the liner to increase medial/lateral support, edge-to-edge response, and, most importantly, durability.
• Special Features – Shrinkage Footprint Reduction Technology reduces the boot’s overall footprint one full size, meaning a size 10 boot fits like a size 10, but has the footprint of a typical size 9. Shorter, lighter, and less bulky, with Shrinkage you can finally ride the board of your dreams.
