Rossignol S7 Barras Skis 2010: The Rossignol S7 Barras Skis are the most revolutionary powder twin tip to hit the backcountry. Says Rossi team rider Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, “It makes me look at terrain in a whole new light. I can slash and smear wind-lips, pockets, pillows and spines that were previously out of play.” And Sage knows what he’s talking about. Thanks to rocker technology, Rossignol has created the perfect powder tool for backcountry skiers who have a fetish for skiing the deep.
-
Core and Flex Pattern – Wood
-
Construction – Rossignol Amptek Technology which combines early-rise tip and tail, camber underfoot, reverse sidecut in the tip and tail, and sidecut underfoot.
-
Shape – Rossignol’s new revolutionary Amptek Profile features standard sidecut underfoot for grip on hardpack with reverse, pin shape sidecut at the tip and tail for floatation in powder. This gives the ski a more slash-and-buttery feel.
-
Binding Compatibility – Requires a wide brake. Waist width varies depending on length.
