Line EP Pro Skis 2010: The Line EP Pro Skis are the world’s fattest, most progressive freestyle specific powder ski. And they’re Eric Pollard’s pro model. The Line EP Pro Skis make previously impossible tricks now possible in the powder so aggressive skiers can venture out of the park and into the wild.
  • Core and Flex Pattern– Maple Macroblock Core - 100% wood core made from the widest and highest quality wood laminates. Soft and flexy, but still stiffer than your grandma’s Franzia.
  • Construction – Early Rise Technology – Contact points start earlier in from the tips causing the ski to rise out of the powder instead of plowing. No reverse camber for reliable handling on groomed terrain.
  • Shape – Early Taper Technology – Widest points on top and tail are moved further in from the tips to reduce tail drag and hooking in the powder. Tail sinks and tip rises easier in powder.
  • Binding Compatibility – Requires brake width of at least 120mm

Comments about Line Skis EP Pro Skis 2010:

FUN FUN FUN. Crazy flotation. Been skiing on the past two models and I can not wait to jump on this one. While it was made 15% stiffer this season, off the shelf it feels pretty similar. 15% stiffer means 15% more face shots. Break out the snorkels Ladies and Gents. Best buttering ski on the market. You can almost touch your nose to the snow when nose-buttering and hand drag just like the movies on a tail butter. Seriously so much fun. The suggested mount point on the EP Pro is 2cm back from true-center. I've ridden both suggested and true-center and like both fairly equally. If I had to pick one I'd go with true-center. Equal swing weight makes spinning seem so effortless. Heed this warning however, there is an adjustment period when jumping on this ski for the first time if you have not skied rocker technology yet. The soft flex of the tail means you have to be on your toes, being back seat equals a wash-out if you're not careful. All in all I love this ski so much it has provided me with the confidence to ski in ways that I've only dreamed about. The boosty pop and softy flex makes you feel like you're surfing. Pollard surfs snow on the EP's, why can't you?

Comments about Line Skis EP Pro Skis 2010:

Although the EP's are definitely pow skis, I only had the opportunity to ride them last year on a sunny groomer day, no fresh lines for me. However, I had so much fun skiing groomers with them that by the time I was done riding, I had already decided that I was going to get a pair. I have never been on a fat ski that feels so playful. I cannot wait to try them out in the pow.
