This girl’s specific fat-twin tip is the first of its kind for K2. The K2 Nancy Skis are built to attack any condition the mountain has to offer, but fully designed for the female rider. The girlfriend of the Seth, this women’s fat ski uses a BioFlex core technology that combines two types of wood for added stability under foot and lighter weight in the extremities which provides ease of turn initiation and reduced swing weight.
  • Triaxial Braided- This patented and proprietary technology wraps an interlocking fiberglass weave around the skis wood core at 38 degrees to provide a strong, lightweight ski with optimum torsional stiffness.
  • Women’s High Performance Big Mountain Twin
  • ABS Sidewall, Tip and Tail Rivets, 3.5 mm Steel Edges
  • Torsion Box Sidewall- Torsion Box construction is K2's most widely used, yet simplest lay-up because of its versatility and its ability to create so many different kinds of skis depending on the amount of flex and torsion designed into the construction. Torsion box’s construction tends to have lively and energetic characteristics that provide a high degree of rebound and performance.

Comments about K2 Nancy Skis - Women's 2007:

I just bought these for my sister (who can absolutely shred!) and wanted to thank Ms. Kasha Bell. That is a girl that I would love to ride with!

My sis thinks these mimic the Solomon gun's, though aren't as light. They do everything you'd expect (power, backcountry and tight turns) and some you wouldn't (crud, heavy snow and cruisers) VERY well!

Kasha, you should look me up! Let's ride?

Comments about K2 Nancy Skis - Women's 2007:

Have you ever just yelled and screamed blasting down a run because it felt good? I fell in love with these skis in about 10 minutes. I had to ski harder and actually work at it, but they are the best thing i have ever had strapped to my feet. They are forgiving, they love crud and ice, off piste, they are so fantastic. they restored my faith in my ability. I'm 47, and if I can make these skis work, then so can you

Comments about K2 Nancy Skis - Women's 2007:

Would you buy a St. Bernard and leave it locket up in the garage all day? I didn't think so! Well, the K2 Nancy skis operate just like a big ol' fluffy Bernard...They need heavy petting, tasty treats, and regular exercise, despite weather conditions. For the last 2 years I skied on the Soloman 165 Pocket Rockets. Sure, I liked them enough; much like the director of the Humane Society feels obligated to love thier resident 15 year old mangy Poodle. But, we all know "that" Poodle is no St. Bernard! The Nancys basically rule the ski community, much like the Bernard rules the doggy world. My 169 Nancys eat crud for dessert, seduce the Seth Vicious's in deep pow, and make ski racers feel like Poodles. If you want to be a St. Bernard, just go right on ahead and buy the Nancys! By the way, when it comes to sizing, don't go for the runt of the litter. I am only 5"2 (32DD) and whole heartedly love my 169 big boned Nancys!

Best fat ski I've shredded in a while.
By Michelle Parker from Squaw Valley, California on 9/1/2006
Pros:
Carving Ability, Durable, Forgiving, Lightweight, LOADS OF FUN, Scratch Resistant
Best Uses:
Backcountry, Backcountry Kickers, Downhill, Park, Switch in Pow

Comments about K2 Nancy Skis - Women's 2007:

Previously I had been riding on the 169 Seth Vicious. The ski was suitable for what I was doing, but I needed something a little softer. The Nancy allowed me to do everything necessary and with more comfort. I mount this ski almost true center to allow more versatility. It carves well through crud and floats on the powder. I've also skied this ski in the park and it was a ton of fun. It is a well-balanced ski that is strong and very shreddable. Happens to be my favorite ski. This is Michelle Parker signing out...go shred some pow!!!!

evo Response: Thanks for your review Michelle. Cheers, evo
