Armada AR6 Skis 2010: You’re a budding park maestro and could make logs with bindings perform off hits and jibs right? You couldn’t possibly require something fancy like the Armada AR6, a ski that combines pop and durability with such a deft touch that a ripper like you might not even notice. Of course, you might notice when you’re able to carve icy early morning takeoffs without feeling chatter. And you might notice that the S7 Base accelerates on snow even after a season of riding rails. And when you realize the AR Core 1 combines with the carbon and Kevlar tail stringer to generate insane pop, you’ll probably notice. Still, you can destroy the park on your old boards, so why would you need the AR6? To take your park skiing to the next level, that’s why.
-
Core and Flex Pattern – AR 1: Three high density wood laminates have been redistributed to lower swing and overall weight while adding even more strength. Snappy, grippy and responsive. Flexy in the tips, rigid underfoot.
-
Construction – ABS: Provides unequaled edge hold, core protection, and added stability. 2.5 Impact Edge: This edge exists for one reason – it’s durable. Designed to resist breaking and tearing out from rocks, rails and another abuse it might meet. S7 Base: Incorporates a new gliding additive for increased speed and minimal maintenance. Also has higher quality transparency which better displays the digitally printed base graphics.
-
Shape – Standard taper, moderate waist and sidecut for versatility and reliability
-
Binding Compatibility – Requires brake width of at least 80mm
