Armada AR6 Skis 2009: The AR6 is Armada’s all-terrain ski model for skiers who want to go everywhere on the mountain and need a ski that can keep up with them. This year’s model is lighter and stronger with the new AR Core 1. A low-maintenance, burly, base and edge assembled using high-performance ABS Sidewall Construction makes this the most versatile park model they offer. Rock Armanda’s AR6 skis on rails, while gripping edge on icy turns and take offs, sending off cat tracks in the afternoon slush, and popping ollies onto that kink you’ve been eyeing up all season.
-
-
AR Core 1- This new configuration lowers swing and overall weight while adding even more strength to the T-Hall and AR6 models.
-
S7 Base- Armada’s toughest base requiring minimal maintenance for park-specific and Fleet Series skis.
-
2.5 Impact Edge-This edge exist for one reason-it’s durable. Designed to resist breaking and tearing out from rock, rail and whatever other abuse it might meet.
-
ABS Sandwich construction- Creates the highest performance skis Armada offers. Two strips of ABS material lie directly alongside the core and over the ski’s edge, providing unequaled edge hold, core protection and adding stability. Uni and bi-directional fiberglass and carbon fiber are layered above and below the wood core and between base and topsheet material.
