A few months ago we hired a designer to handle all of our visual communication work. He goes by the moniker of Pubs, but his real name is Nathan Burnham-Bradley. For this email he created the visuals, worked closely with our photographer, and helped Christine, our clothing buyer, select key pieces from the Upper Playground collection. The shirt pictured above on Tom (Seattle store employee) is one of Pubs' favorites. It was designed by Sam Flores, one of Upper Playground's most successful collaborators. Pubs has respected Upper Playground for the past couple of years because they collaborate with different groups of artists to produce each piece. Lifetime Collective is another well-respected brand around evo. Pubs told me that when he first walked into our Seattle store to interview for an internship, he noticed a Lifetime jacket on display. While waiting to be interviewed he purchased the jacket because it was "super fresh" and wears it frequently. I know this is true because I sit next to Pubs every single day. We just received some brand new Wesc shipments for both men and women--just in time for getting physical on road trips or prancing around the city.
