Gregg Necrason is the Liquid Force team veteran. He helped design and introduce the world’s first six fin board, the Trip into the public eye at X-Games ‘97. Every board and rider has grown from this simple foundation. An updated version of the classic Trip design, the Liquid Force Team is a thin and lightweight board that utilizes cupped side fins to provide a responsive grip with lightning quick turns complimented by super soft landings from the double concave hull. This aggressive style blends with the variable edge offering a manageable release off the wake. Necrason helped design a board for the intermediate to pro level rider.
  • Find your boot size
  • Cupped Side Fins Placed Wide at the Tip and Tail - Cupped fins are more effective in every aspect: hold better, release quicker, faster with less drag. Also helps your board hold better switch stance, frontside, toeside, backside, heelside. Solid and consistent tracking from any side
  • Long Base Resin Center Fins - Shallow and long for quick releasing and tracking. Allows rider to fine tune to desired feel
  • Variable Edges - There’s no catch. Soft in the middle, forgiving when neutral, spins faster off the wake, lands still spinning, sharpens as it nears the tail. Locks and holds edge into the water when weight is transferred into the edging position
  • Blunted Bat Tail - Explosive pop created by extended full tail shape

The Liquid Force Team and Sphynx is a great combination for anywhere from a recreational rider to an advanced level rider. I love this board. It has great pop, stability and quick turns. It also allows you to be loose or tight. The bindings are also great and very comfortable.

Comments about Liquid Force Team Wakeboard + Sphynx Boots 2006:

It gives you the option of riding loose or really stable. I personally choose to switch back and forth. It edges well even without the center fin. The bindings aren't the best though, however, I'm comparing them to the Ronix One bindings so...
