The CWB Transcend is the first 2007 deck released by CWB Board Co. While CWB completely redesigned the shape, CWB kept everything that was great about the feel of this board. The Transcend is still buttery as ever. The board has been sped up by scaling back the rocker. Twin tunnels off the tip and tail were added for improved performance and the center spine has been beefed up for softer landings.

-
Fin Extension- Unique to the Transcend, a fin was added for traction, but not totally change the ride. When you add a normal fin to a board, it goes from loose to sticky. With the Transcend, the fin Extension adds just the right amount of traction allowing the rider to fine tune how they want the board to bite.
-
P-core construction- A lighter and stronger foam than previously used in wake. The P-core construction allows us to make the core denser, while maintaining the same light weight ride, for which we are known.
-
X-Flex- Adds extra uni-directional glass, the board snaps back into shape quicker than ever. This snap creates pop. Pop is good.

The Faction Boot
The first 2007, the Faction features an "Articulated Toe”. The Articulated toe is nylon, Lycra and neoprene precisely wrapped around segmented EVA to construct a toe rubber that forms to any foot providing comfortable support. The Faction also has a higher stiffer wrap than the Torq model, and a dual hidden lace.
The Hinge Tech system makes entry easy with the flip of a lever. It delivers excellent heel hold down with Zero heel lift. Clamp it to any board with the dual tooth “Lockjaw” plate and you are in for the ride of your life.
