The Salomon Benedek Freestyle Snowboard - David’s personalized trick machine. David is not just a sick rider, but also expresses his visual side through such media as film and print. The custom typographic topsheet on the Salomon Benedek deck was fashioned by David's creative mind. The line drawn graphic–which spells out Salomon in code–can be deciphered from a number of different perspectives. For winter, David made Benedek Freestyle Snowboard lighter, softer and cleaner, while also retaining ERA performance.

4x2 Inserts- This allows an accurate adjustment of the stance when binding disk holes are used for drag adjustment
LNK (Long Nose Kick)- Profiled for easy float, Salomon’s extended nose kick rises to the top when charging hard in deep snow or riding away from fresh landings. The gradual shovel shape gets up to speed fast and refuses to sink, keeping the back leg burn-free when dropping in on deep untracked

Spaceframe- A small revolution in the ERA technology: a wider platform for surgically precise transmission, a more dynamic and light core, more comfort thanks to the shock absorbing ABS, all while keeping the unique ERA system that separates the flexion & torsion for more maneuverability at low speeds while keeping perfect support at high speeds
ITC- Woven into the board at a 22.5-degree angle, Salomon’s braided fiberglass gives the board torsional stability and transmits energy efficiently to the contact points. Snappier than the 45-degree standard, this construction results in better edge hold and a more responsive ride

Edge Tuned- Salomon has given special attention to detail in our edge finishing. The edge tuned of the edges with an angle of 1.5° in 2 directions give you improved maneuverability for all obstacles & incomparable ease going from edge to edge
Medium Stone Finish- This base structure gives the best glide for conditions that range from foot-plus fresh and sticky spring slush. The coarse pattern breaks up surface suction and amplifies speed, insuring against getting stuck in the flats or coming up short

P-TEX 4000 Electra Gallium- This top-fuel base is engineered for a super fast glide in everything from fresh pow to sticky spring snow. Sintered material provides superior wax retention, Gallium strengthens impact resistance and an electra finish gives a turbocharged glide
Select Core Pro- High-grade strips of shade-grown Aspen form the nucleus of this pro-stock core. CNC milling tweaks the ride for max power and on-point precision, while an engineered 3D CAD design cuts excess thickness and makes it the lightest all-wood core in our line
