The 2008 K2 Zepplin Snowboard is a Classic K2. The board that defines K2’s heritage, the Zeppelin has offered peak to park performance more than a decade now. With a 4000 Ceramic Sintered base and Hyper Progressive Sidecut, the K2 Zeppelin Snowboard delivers speed and control. With a smooth and consistent release of energy precisely when you need it, the Ti - A Power Fork technology, Multi Polar Core and directional twin shape give you maximum pop charging the fall line from hit to hit or spinning off a cornice. The 2008 K2 Zepplin Snowboard is an all mountain ruler.
-
Hybritech Construction- Hybritech is the most effective way to make a snowboard. It takes a cap tip and tail and blends it into a sidewall along the running surface. K2 takes the time to create complex molds and parts that bring these two features together. It gives you low swing weight and optimized turn initiation at the ends combined with durability and damping on the running surface. This design produces high-performance boards that excel across any variety of mountain terrain, snow conditions and riding styles.
-
Multi Polar Core- The lightweight strength and liveliness of the Multi Core but with added damping pads isolated under each foot. The pads isolate the inserts into the top of the core, which cuts vibrations leading to the foot, and gives you a flatter, faster base by reducing "base suck-up."
-
Hyper Progressive Sidecut- K2’s most aggressive, yet versatile sidecut. A very gentle radius in the tip and tail are blended to a tight radius in the center of the board. Whether you want to relax and bomb with confidence or carve circles around your buddy, this sidecut puts you in control of your turns.
-
Ti-A Power Forks- Dual bands of titanium-aluminum alloy bracketing the contact points are combined with carbon off-axis layers. The result is an extended area of maximum edge control along with tremendous energy and response.
-
4000 Sintered Base- With added carbon plus ceramic fibers. Graphite adds speed, while ceramic improves abrasion resistance.
