Burton X8 Snowboard 2009: You’re leading a double life. You love to bounce through back country powder like Neil Armstrong pulverizing the moon, but you can also be found making scrambled eggs out of the terrain park. Finally, your two identities can look each other in the eye without the troublesome adulteress blushing. Meet the board that can bring them together, the Burton X8 Snowboard, the ride so versatile it moves flawlessly from deep powder to the most daring railing. The Triax Response Fiber Glass provides versatile flex, sturdy enough to carve yet responsive enough to nail any grab. The options for riding are endless with the Infinite Channel System, which allows you to easily adjust your stance with heel to toe precision. Burton’s 10:45 Sidewalls are equipped for the most aggressive rider, as they absorb impact from big air stunts. The Burton X8 is a chameleon of snowboards—even its graphics change according to mountain temperature with Burton’s brand new Living Color Technology. The Burton X8 snowboard is the all around ambassador for any part of the mountain, from peak to park to paradise.
  • Pro-Tipped: New technology dramatically reduces swing weight to help you pull that extra 180. If that’s not enough, the Pro Tip also improves float on powder. New! Living Color Graphics: As the temperature changes, so do the graphics on your board. Burton’s new heat-sensitive technology allows the X8 artwork to change according to how cold it is outside- keeping your board interesting and always changing its style.
  • Triax Response Fiber Glass: Versatility, flex, and response will take you anywhere on the mountain. 10:45 Sidewalls: Extra meaty sidewalls with two different angles to absorb impact for aggressive riders who demand impact survival.
  • Grip and Rip Tune Edges: The Classic Burton edge slices and dices the mountain like a serial killer. Shape and Flex: Twin
  • Sintered N2O WFO Base: Takes dual temperature wax impregnation to chemistry-nerd levels, N20 WFO blends extra glide material with insanely strong materials to create a super fast, low maintenance base. Infinite Channel System: An interface unlike anything else on the market, the ICS offers the ultimate bond between board and binding. Fully compatible with any Burton binding, this simple slot gives you a level of adjustability that no traditional insert pad could ever provide. Fine-tune your stance width with millimeter micro-adjustability, then dial in your toe-to-heel centering with custom precision. For the full effect, link it up with an EST binding and experience the clearest, most cu

Comments about Burton X8 Channel Snowboard (Lime) - Blem 2009:

If snowboards went to jail for murder...then lock this thing up cause it kills stuff. This board has a soft/mid flex and a great side cut. Twin-tip shape and flex for those who go both ways. I rode mine centered and 18front, 18rear and couldn't tell which end was the nose. Great for rails and park jumps with super quick edge to edge response from the channel design. Lots of pop to get over snowfences and mystical creatures. Softest board I've ridden in a few years but had more ollie power than shaquille o'neil on a teeter totter with a five year old.Should you get an x8? Heck yes, but only if you want to hit sweet drops in to nose deep pow or slang some peace signs off a tasty jump. The only problem I had was with the EST system. In 50+ days the bolts loosened two or three times. I definitely fell in love with the feel of EST boots, binding combo. Just gotta make sure everythings tight before you strap in.Check out some action shots [@]
