Comments about Morrow Kick Boa Snowboard Boots 2009:

I haven't had a chance to try out the boots on the snow, YET, so this is just a first impressions review. Overall I give these boots a solid B. The boots are sized exactly as stated, so if you like to double up on the socks, go half-size larger. The outer shell is solid and thick and the liner is thick enough to keep the feet warm and to provide decent cushioning. The flex is about average, comfortable, but I wouldn't volunteer to walk 5 miles wearing them. These boots are comfortable to wear and in the bindings – nothing spectacular, but no discomfort either. The weight is on par with any other strap-in boots and definitely much lighter than any step-in.

On the downside the BOA lacing system feels a bit flimsy. About the third of the way through tightening the boots, the wheel made a few noises as if the cable was slipping. However, I tightened the boots to the point where it was almost too tight and they held up pretty well when walking and getting in and out the bindings. It could be that some breaking-in is required. I wouldn't hesitate to use these with a most jumps, but would still put more trust in shoe strings in the park/half pipe.

Overall, these are good boots with a good price tag. I would recommend them to any intermediate all-mountain rider.
