The Judge is now in session. One of DC’s most popular high-performance snowboard boots, the DC Judge is souped-up and revamped for 2008. This boot features all the high-tech comfort features DC has to offer, like the Articulated Upper Cuff and unique Full-Size Airbag, for a comfy-tight fit from day one to day 365+. And while the CTR technology guarantees the finest all-terrain traction around, the Boa Lacing System and 3D Tongue ensure a custom-tailored boot fit—so you get the best feel and control imaginable. For a secure fit and the most unrelentingly advanced technology available, the 2008 DC Judge Snowboard Boot is a wise decision indeed.
-
Bravo Liner — Features patented inflatable Air Bladder and release valve. This technology allows the airbag to be inflated and deflated based on preference and the shape of the rider’s foot. The liner has been constructed of multi-density materials and features a Support Beam on the lateral and medial sides for improved structure and support. Finally, DC’s Power Strap is added for liner tightening around the calf.
-
Boa Lacing System — Allows for precise and effortless fit adjustments. The Boa evenly distributes pressure and allows for micro-adjustments to the lacing. It’s simple: push in the knob and twist clockwise to tighten, pull out the knob and push the tongue forward to loosen.
-
Articulated Upper Cuff — Provides excellent support without sacrificing flex. It gives you more lateral and forward flex—like instant boot break-in!
CTR (Cold Temperature Rubber) — Exclusive DC innovation. When the temp dips below 32°F, the CTR compound hardens to form traction-enhancing spikes.
-
3D Tongue — Ergonomic one-piece construction eliminates pinch points and hot spots for ultimate comfort.
Internal Ankle Brace — Laces up and secures the liner inside boot, preventing heel lift and providing a snug fit.
-
Foam Padding — Calf area is lined with soft, comfortable padding to help keep your calves from getting tenderized.
Full-Size Airbag — Like the name implies, a full-size airbag makes it seem like you’re stepping into an air-inflated cushion. This airbag extends from the heel to the ball of the toe so that more of the foot gets cushioned.
