Rossignol Zenith Z9 Oversized Skis + Bindings - Used 2008 - Built for 100% of the mountain, these oversized skis may be hefty, but the second you set these baddies down in snow, they’ll respond with quickness, versatility, and a level of responsiveness you may not expect. If you’re a high-speed skier and you like to carve those turns but still feel like you’re soaring on a couple of freeride sticks, the Zenith Z9 Oversized Skis are for you. Prepare yourself for a ski that can not only keep up, but it may show you a thing or two about popping turns and sliding in style. With the Zenith Z9 Oversized Skis comes a pair of Axial2 120 Bindings, so you’re more then set up, just snap your boots in and get ready to own the entire mountain.
  • Construction: Dualtec Integral
  • IPS H Custom- Frame with H-shape structure, visco-elastic inserts at the ends and TPI2 interface, plus interchangeable arms (1 at the front and 1 in the back) which makes it possible to personalize ski turning radii, as well as for terrain and power.
  • TPI2- The addition of a composit beam in a twin interface. The binding slides on this beam to enable setting for all-boot sizes.
  • Twin VAS- The Vibration Absorption System is located under the interface for dampening and rebound.
  • VAS- Or Vibration Absorbing System is created with the use of elastomers built into the ends of the ski structure, in particular in the Zenith models. It provides a level of comfort, stability, and true feel to the skis.

Comments about Rossignol Zenith Z9 Oversized Skis + Bindings - Used 2008:

Just demo'd these in Utah. Skied Alta and Deer Valley. Great carvers, turn on a dime. They are easy to initiate a turn, hold a solid edge in whatever radius you choose and spring you into your next turn. Tight on packed powder and groomers. Held a good edge on parts of the slope that were "skied off" (as if thats a problem in the Wasatch) Very maneuverable and precise, they will go exactly where you point them. A medium-soft and very forgiving ski. I am not a mogul skier but used these skis in some well rounded bumps and they made me look good. Quick tuning and good edge hold on the steeps enabled me to keep any line I chose. Not overly stable at super high speeds in the flats. Seemed OK in day old, tracked powder. Maybe a little too forgiving to be great at blasting through that day old, tracked and wind packed crud.
