Rossignol Scratch Girl BC Skis – Women’s specific pro backcountry freestyle model. Designed for hitting kickers and big pow. Also excels in the pipe and park, and rips the open mountain. Constructed with F.I.T. (Feminine Intuitive Technology) design elements specifically for women. The Rossignol Scratch Girl BC Skis will go just about anywhere and do just about any thing.
  • 60% Backcountry 40% Jib
  • All Rossignol women’s skis are developed and tested by women and are tailored to fit the needs and demands of a female skier.
  • Women’s F.I.T. Core/W Flex – Innovative women’s core, designed with two types of wood; poplar – for lightness and fume – for liveliness and ski to snow feel. Core is wrapped with looser fiberglass weaves creating a women’s specific flex. As the lengths move down in size, the flex gets progressively softer. This increases control and comfort. F.I.T. core and structures are 500g lighter then conventional women’s cores.
  • W Mounting Position – Rossignol moves the mounting position forward on all women’s skis to improve turn initiation.

Comments about Rossignol Scratch Girl BC Skis - Women's 2008:

I used to ski Volkl 220's, which were great for an introduction to the sport, but they are humble second cousins to the Rossi BC's. It's like comparing Takamine to Taylor (in guitars). My first day out on these dream machines I was at a new mountain. I went over an edge (my legs weren't even warmed up yet) that ended up being a fairly mutilated black diamond mogul run (I hate moguls!!!). I kept gaining speed and was just waiting for the crash. But it never happened! These beauties stuck it out under me, and amazingly, I just sailed past all of my friends who had to pick their jaws up and put all of their jokes right back in, because I had just bested them all! No magnificent wreck here. :) The only downer is that I have to work a little harder to keep up on the groomers - these babies need plenty of wax. But other than my speed addiction not being fully met, the reliability and solid performance of these skis has been phenomenal! I definitely feel like I can take on a lot more with them, and even drop a few cliffs along the way. :)

Comments about Rossignol Scratch Girl BC Skis - Women's 2008:

These skis a great for shredding through stuff. When the snow gets thick, they respond amazingly. They float in powder, and with a little getting used too, are great on the groomers. I feel like i have a lot more control and balance with these skis. Only con is that they are a bit heavy for the park.

Comments about Rossignol Scratch Girl BC Skis - Women's 2008:

The Rossignol BC's are my favorite all around skis, they carve on the groomers, float over pillows and stomp even the big stuff. I learned my back-flip on these babies!
