Rossignol Scratch Brigade BC Skis 2008- The Rossignol Scratch Brigade BC Skis are perfect for those looking for a backcountry freestyle ski for powder, hitting kickers and using the mountain as their playground. The Brigade BC has the same set-up as the Create-It BC, featuring a THC core made from three different materials: poplar for lightless and liveliness, fume wood for quick response and ski-to-snow feel, and ash wood for absorbing shocks and vibrations. The rocking chair effect guarantees spring on the rail and pop out of the half pipe. If the mountain is your playground, the 2008 Rossignol Scratch Brigade BC Skis are your new toys.
-
60% Backcountry, 40% Jib, Recommended size by weight- 140-170 lbs (171cm), 160-180 lbs (178cm), 170 lbs+ (185cm)
-
THC Core- A hybrid core made from three different materials: poplar for lightless and liveliness, fume wood for quick response and ski-to-snow feel, and ash wood for absorbing shocks and vibrations.
-
30 Degree Slanting Sidewalls- Sidewalls are angled at a 30 degree incline to improve swing weight, reduce the overall weight of the ski, and enhance edging and durability.
-
Rebound Tip- Has a layer of Visco in the tip and tail of the ski to absorb shocks and reduce over flexing.
-
Rocking Chair Effect- These skis have softer flexing tips and tails and a stiffer mid-section. This allows the skier to load the tips or tails to spring up on a rail, or pop out of the half pipe, improving balance, aka: the “ollie” effect.

By Pando Commando from Bozeman, MT - Bridger Bowl on 2/3/2009 Pros: Good Grip, Great Flotation, Lightweight, Smooth Ride Cons: Scratches Easily, Too soft of core Best Uses: Downhill, Icy Conditions, Powder Describe Yourself: Competitive Skier Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend evo Response: Hi, This is definitely not a common occurance. The Rossignol Brigade does have a mounting plate it in. There is a possibility that you may have received a bad ski with so many skis made it can happen. You should definitely get in touch with your local shop and have them send it to warranty. If you purchased the skis from us please give our customer service a call. Cheers, Sunny
