K2 Sidewinder Skis 2009: The all new Sidewinder offers the best balance of performance, forgiveness and stability. It boasts a moderate waist width and sidecut and dampening at a targeted location, it is a high-performance all-mountain tool.

Core and Flex Pattern – Fir/Aspen wood core for inherent strength, durability and energy. Relatively forgiving.

Construction – Torsion Box Cap Construction and Triaxial Braiding: interlocking strands of fiberglass wrap the core to produce skis that have a great deal of torsional or twist rigidity and strength, while maintaining the lively innate flex characteristics of the wood core. MOD Monic Technology dampens at a precise location where the overall MOD structure dampens the entire length of the ski.
