they came with a slight ding in them. but what can you expect for [$]. probably only good for one season of use, but that's precisely what i bought them for.

I haven't had a chance to use these poles yet. It is early november and the snow hasn't really hit yet. They are not a goode/composite material. But if you are an Intermediate skier or below these are perfect. I am about a level II skier, and these will be great. Price at Evo Gear and service was amazing.
