As any gear junkie knows, it's the details that count. With the Hartman jacket, the leather zipper pulls, to the thumbholes in wrist gaiters, to the eight pockets (!)- they all combine with top-quality nylon cord material, light, non-restrictive insulation, and a classic style with the front button design that is tough to beat (literally and figuratively), on the mountain or off. I foresee wearing this for years not only on my backcountry hikes, but to the office as well.
