The Giro Fuse Wireless Audio Helmet is light and durable with progressive styling and Giro TuneUps Wireless system delivers incredible stereo sound. Developed in conjunction with Motorola, the system consists of a pair of modular speaker pods that clip into either the ear pads of your helmet or the included DJ headset. Intuitive, easy to reach controls are located on the speaker pods and are simple to use, even in gloved hands.
  • Integrated Tuneups Wireless
  • EPS Liner - EPS offers the most consistent performance across a wide range of conditions. Gram for gram it absorbs more impact energy than other liner materials, plus it’s incredibly light. No other material brings all of these benefits together.
  • In-mold Construction – In-mold construction fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet’s impact-absorbing foam liner for extra durability without excess weight. The fusion process also allows us to sculpt better ventilation systems, so In-mold helmets can be lighter and cooler than traditional helmets.
  • In Form™ Fit System – The In Form™ Fit system makes it easy to dial in a custom fit in seconds – even with gloves on. An ergo-friendly dial at the base of the helmet provides up to 6cm of fit/feel adjustment and enhanced stability, and the system also offers vertical tuning of the helmet’s fore/aft position to match different goggles and head shapes.
  • Super Cool Vents – Super Cool vents pull cool, fresh air into the helmet while pushing heat and stale air out. By maximizing efficiency and optimizing vent shapes, the collective cooling power of Super Cool vents helps to regulate your core temperature and keep you feeling fresh all day.

Comments about Giro Fuse Wireless Audio Helmet:

Helemt is great, and I had very little problems getting it setup to use with my iphone. Everything works, except you can't skip audio tracks. The only negatives are that it doesn't get super loud and the audio quality is only so-so. Nowhere close to my Bose headphones but better than the stock iphone ones. Other than that, I love the convenience and can't wait to get out and use on the slopes.

Comments about Giro Fuse Wireless Audio Helmet:

This helmet has a lot of standard features that are done well. For starters, the interior has a thin layer of removable felt material for added insulation and comfort. You can take it off with Velcro if you want to although I can't see why you would take it off... I wouldn't want the rougher interior rubbing on my head.

It also has an adjustment strap that allows much better "grip" on your head. It has 5 vertical micro adjustments depending on the shape of your head and how snug you want the helmet. Mine is set and forget.

The venting works pretty well. Its an easy toggle on the top of your head. It took a little getting used to so my finder (in gloves) knows where to look and which direction to push it. The vent covers the top 6 holes and not the side holes. Would be nice to also have side vents but I guess the top is most important.

The earpads are supposed to be removeable and they appear to be, but I haven't figured out how to remove them... I'm worried about breaking them as its not intuitive. So far, hasn't been a need so we'll see what happens when the I really need to make it happen.

The big question is the audio. I haven't had a chance to use the audio portion yet so I can't comment on that piece.
