This buckle has become my main belt buckle. I wear it all the time, except when i need to dress fancy or go snowboarding, which I haven't tried. I haven't had any problems with water ruining the buckle. It's also a comfortable buckle since the corners have been rounded unlike other buckles I've seen and worn. It can get scratched but it doesn't scratch easily. If you want a durable buckle this is the buckle to get.

I am not a big belt buckle guy by any means, but this one is pretty sweet. I am going to use a little water sealant on it to keep it from staining.

I haven't had any water spot issues despite wearing it to the beach and around WA. I've given the buckle as a gift a couple times and it's been well received. The coolest things about this buckle are:
- it's different
- love the wood
- just unhook from your belt and can be used to open bottles!

I thought that this belt buckle was really cool, but the smallest drop of water ruined it. There are spots everywhere! Living in WA, you deal with rain everyday, I can't have something that gets all spotty when it gets wet! But the buckle is made well and looks great on! I just wish that I could get rid of the water spots!

evo Response: Thanks for your review. Good point, Washington is wet. I would suggest throwing a little wood water sealant or even rubbing olive oil on the buckle to resist water. Beware it could slightly alter the color. -evo
