Rossignol Scratch Ski Boots 2008- The Rossignol 2008 Scratch Ski Boots are specifically structured to handle hard landings. The Scratch Landing Gear technology and redesigned internal shape make the Rossignol Scratch the ultimate pipe and park backcountry freestyle boot.
  • Scratch Landing Gear- The entire heel of the liner is wrapped in a thick layer of shock-dampening elastomers for ultimate protection against hard landings.
  • Scratch Re-design- Revamped internal shape and upper cuff. The internal shape has been drastically modified to offer a true anatomical shape. The upper cuff has been lowered to provide a better blend with the lower shell. With the activator removed, the upper wrapping provides a positive and progressive flex.
  • Visco “Shock” Zeppa- Removable zeppa, made of Visco material to dampen shocks and vibrations as well as soften big landings, improves fit and allows for an easier stance adjustment.
  • Total Thermo Fit with Visco heel insert- Visco material to dampens shocks and vibrations as well as soften big landings, improves fit and allows for an easier stance adjustment.

I used this boot from competing in the park to face shots in the powder and it is the best boot ever it is soft and flexy for hard landing but still stiff enough that it doesnt over flex.The entry is a little tough but it is worth it once u r in, they hold heat and are very comfertoble.
