I am glad to hear you are getting your new ski boots on at the house. I suggest trying to emulate skiing when you try them on, stand and lean forward, hopefully you won’t spend to much time walking and lying down on the hill. :) Don’t worry if your ski boots feel a little tight when you first try them on because they will pack out a bit when you ski them.
