How to pick a wake vest?
Pick a wake vest that is right for you. Consider size, type of vest and vest material. Wakeboarding vests are easy and comfortable to wear. It is nice to keep your head above water.
Sizing Wake Vests
One size does not fit all. Wake vests come in many sizes. Determine your correct wake vest size by measuring around the thickest part of your chest and checking the specific vest sizing chart.
Vest Types
US Coast Guard (USCG) Approved Vests
Federal regulations in the United States require that all passengers on the boat have a USCG approved life jacket. The vest must be in good serviceable condition and the appropriate size for the intended user.

Competition Vests or Comp Vests
These vests are lighter weight, super flexible, will float you but don’t always keep your head completely out of the water. Comp vests are not US Coast Guard approved.
