Lenzerheide, Switzerland

Lenzerheide Switzerland - Winter, 2008/09

Lenzerheide offers a rare mix of consistent pow, pristine challenging terrain, and cold sun. 155 km of well-kept ski runs lie at "snow guaranteed" altitudes from 1230 to 2865 meters above sea level. It is also home to some of the region's best and most challenging off-piste and freeriding areas.

The Lodge at 1240 m is located at the top of town 100 m from the chairlifts to the main Staetzerhorn section of The Lenzerheide resort and Churwaldens’ own Pradaschier ski area. The shops and supermarket in Churwalden are only a short walk from the property.

A wooden “chalet style” 1st floor houses the five bedrooms and the massage/reading room. It also boasts three triple single bedrooms and two twin rooms that can sleep up to 13 guests. The ground floor hosts a large dining area, kitchen, bar and living room with flat screen TV, DVD, sky satellite and bean-bag-loungers to relax in. (Your hosts Holly and Dave have their own separate apartment behind the kitchen.)

“The Boardroom” in the below garage is home to the workshop for in house ski and board services with another separate ski and board storage room in the basement.

Delicious pow turns. Switzerland, evo style.
