Who am I?
My name is Micaela (yes it’s spelled weird, or beautiful as my mom says) Katz (no, it doesn’t mean cat in German). I ventured over to the states just about 8 years ago from Argentina, the land of empanadas, mate and Maradona. Back when skis were still pencil shaped and all boots were rear entry, my dad took me to the top of Cerro Catedral in Bariloche. Many double ejections later, I realized that the love and serenity that I felt when skiing could not be compared to anything else. Although I have followed snow year-round for the last decade, I also enjoy an occasional fruit booting session even if you can’t “pizza”. I like Chuck Norris and practice my roundhouse kicks daily. If I could eat mashed potatoes every day, I would. Sometimes I dance around in my ninja suit. I hate crutches, but love Tanner Hall. Recently, I found out my spirit animal is a bear, surprising and impressive at the same time. I don’t like socks and I’m obsessed with flannel.
