What's your weapon of choice?
Normally skis, but occasionally I pick up a snowboard. Sir Francis Bacons and Moment Reagans with some Full Tilt Boots. More snow!!!

Who am I?
Courtney. Around evo some people like to call me Kurt, short for Kurtney.
I'm a skier. Without it I wouldn't know who I am.
|
How did you come to work at evo?
Craigslist has a lot to offer. That's where I picked up Gary, my green VW Golf TDI. He's super reliable, likes snow and biodiesel.
|
Why am I still at evo?
I like it! What it stands for. I'm here because I ski and I want to contribute to the industry and culture surrounding it.

Why the Northwest? Why Seattle?
I love the balance of great skiing and culture. We've got the city, the mountains, the beach, great coffee, some pretty good beers and lots of computer geeks...all things I love. On my drive to work I can see Mt. Ranier for about half of it, then I can see the Olympics through nice green trees and beautiful homes. It's a good start to any day.

Do you like your neighbors?
Not really. Isaac, the kid who lives upstairs, likes to run a lot really early in the mornings. (He's three.) However, when we load the racks up with skis and boards he gets big googly eyes. I wouldn't be surprised if we realize a kid snuck into the car half way up to the mountain. He's gotta get on the hill sometime, right? Wait, that wouldn't happen. He's not very ninja like.

What is the deal with all the babies?
I dunno, but it makes me kind of uncomfortable. Okay really uncomfortable. Make them go away.
