How did you come to work at evo?
It all started in the year 2003 at a bagel shop at the University of Oregon. Bryce happened to be making his way through town and heard that I was interested in being an intern. He stopped by and we chatted about my eBay prowess and shortly after I began as evo's first intern.

What's the best part about your job or working at evo?
Being able to come to work every day and really enjoy what you do is rare. You can ask anybody in the company why evo is such a great place to work and they'll all say that it's because of the people. I can't argue with that.

Why the Northwest? Why Seattle?
I grew up in the Northwest and knew that I wanted to stay on the west coast after college. I think that Seattle offers the perfect combination of city life and outdoor awesome-ness that makes it easy to live a balanced life. There is always something going on if you want to be around people and there's always an opportunity to go somewhere to be alone which can be hard to find in a city. There is also great food, great coffee, (and tea) and great Northwest beer (and wine).

What is the most exciting moment you remember working at evo?
On a random Friday during the first summer I worked at evo, we sold three wakeboard packages on the website before lunchtime. We were all so stoked we shut down the company for the rest of the day and celebrated.
