Tecnica Mega 8 UltraFit Ski Boots 2010: Built for the skier who feels as though sacrificing comfort for some high-performance mumbo jumbo boot is a joke. Tecnica brings you the Mega 8, built with everything you need and nothing you don’t. A new Progressive Cushioning System uses thick memory foam to fill out the wide 105mm footbed, resulting in an unparalleled “I thought ski boots were supposed to hurt?” feeling. A ski/walk device allows convenient flex when chillin’ in the lodge and locked power when heading downhill. The Progressive Flex System allows a range of flexibility to suit your needs, and a heat-moldable UltraFit liner provides a custom fit. Only one word really sums this boot up: mega-groovy.

Cuff Shape – Progressive Cushioning System combines changes to the last, linear and footbed. The liner utilizes a thicker, slow memory ethafoam that offers a very comfortable fit. The extra room in the shell last also allows for a thicker, multilayered footbed, adding enhanced shock absorption to the equation

Materials – Within the Mega series, the 3 Density technology primarily emphasizes easy entry/exit by using the softest materials: 50% Soft (1st injection), 50% Hard (2nd injection)
