Salomon Falcon CS Pro Ski Boots 2010: Built for advanced to expert skiers the Salomon Falcon CS Pro Ski Boots feature the first and only heat moldable shell and liner. That’s right, heat moldable shell. This special shell has all the characteristics of a normal boot when cold, but is pliable when heated. The result is a boot that molds to your foot exactly, increasing precision, sensitivity, power and comfort. You used to have to sacrifice comfort with the Salomon Falcon CS Pro’s stiffer flex index and narrow forefoot width, but with the Salomon Custom Shell, now you don’t.
  • Flex and Fit – The Salomon Falcon CS Pro Ski Boots feature the first and only heat moldable shell for complete customization. The Falcon CS Pro has a 98mm forefoot width but is constructed with 2 panels, one on either side of the boot that have a 3mm adjustment range, pushing it to a 104mm. Still, the Salomon Falcon CS Pro is a high performance boot that is low volume and too narrow for wider or high volume feet.
  • Cuff Shape – The cuff shape is designed to contour a man’s calf.
  • Materials – Salomon’s Custom Shell is made with a special material called Karpolene that allows the plastic to mold to your foot when heated.
  • Liners – My Custom Fit Race Liner is heat moldable for immediate customization and comfort from day one.
  • Additional Features – Loop on tongue makes for easy entry; 3D Powerstrap locks heel into place.

I have been skiing with this line of boots and skiing since 1970. This is the best boot and most responsive boot I have skied to date. Once you get in them and adjust the front buckler to your foot, you are set all season. They manage different conditions and temperatures well with minimal socks. I have seven years of full time skiing and have skiied three continents down to -20 Farenheit. This is the best boot I have owned to date and absolute finest front buckle system I have put on. Did I mention they are hot looking too?
