The Tecnica Diablo Race Ski Boot is designed for serious speed and maximum performance. A neoprene toe box allows the front of the liner to expand, giving the toes the extra room they may need as well as additional warmth and comfort. Derived directly from the Tecnica’s world cup race boot, the Diablo last features a lower volume heel, ankle and leg shaft while providing a moderate to high volume forefoot with an asymmetrical toe box in a performance fit. The foot is positioned for efficient use of both the downhill and uphill edges at the same time. A lower ramp angle, increased forward lean and a maximized sole clearance accommodate the extreme lateral angles created with modern technique. The Tecnica Diablo Race is a low volume, precise fitting boot with aggressive foot positioning, enhances power and control between skier and ski.

  • 3 Density Constructions- 3 Density Construction is a combination of two different zones of hardness within the shell. Within 3D there are three variations that address different needs Twin Support System- The Twin Support System found in the upper cuff addresses the concept that skiing relies heavily on lateral movement. The design allows the pressure to be distributed laterally, which enhances performance
  • Rapid Access- Rapid Access is a revolutionary, simple, yet effective system. It features a pre-formed cuff that swings open and closed on a hinge. The system is made of three pieces: a regular cuff, a nylon hinge and a hinging cuff Dual Pivot- The proven patented Dual Pivot allows alignment in two dimensions, addressing performance, fit and comfort simultaneously. The axis alignment function allows the cuff to "hinge" or attach to the lower shell at different points
  • Flex Adjustment- A two position flex adjustment is quick and easy to use. Utilize the tool that comes with the boot. Remove the flex plate and rotate to the desired position. Reinsert and tighten Hinged Instep Catch- The instep catch is on a hinge allowing it to adjust for better pressure distribution and closure. It can pivot away from the shell allowing the shell to spread without interference allowing easy entry & exit
  • Lycra Lining Insert- A lycra lining insert in the back of the liner offers a smooth, slippery surface which allows the foot to easily slide in and out of the boot aiding entry and exit Tongue Handle Pull Strap- A tongue handle pull strap, found on all models, aids in the entry and exit of the boot, as well as making sure the tongue is correctly seated for additional comfort and performance
